Rob Orr, CPO, LPO is lead Prosthetist & Orthotist of Arthur Finnieston Prosthetics + Orthotics in Miami, Florida. Rob is a Licensed and Certified Prosthetist & Orthotist with the State of Florida and the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics.
Rob obtained his Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and went on to study Orthotics and Prosthetics at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Rob initially studied and worked as orthotic and prosthetic technician. Through this hands on work, Rob realized that with his skills and ability, as well as love for the work, he could greatly contribute to the field. He went on to complete certification and licensure and now has over fifteen years of experience working with patients of all activity levels. His dedication to his patients is matched by his technical skill and ongoing desire to learn about new technology and advanced clinical practices.
Rob’s extensive experience in upper and lower extremity prosthetics includes specialized interest in advanced techniques for above the knee patients including the use of microprocessor controlled prosthetics (Rheo and C-Leg). In addition, Rob also has advanced training in orthotic techniques and devices, and is certified in the Walk Aide System, used in the treatment of drop foot.
When Rob is not working with his patients, he is an avid outdoorsman and loves hiking, rafting and camping. Rob’s personal interests makes him a tireless advocate for his patients. He embraces the Finnieston philosophy of “No Limits” as he assists patients to achieve the active lifestyle they deserve.
